“Mountain cocktail.” Think dress, jumpsuit, or sport coat + slacks, but pair it with practical shoes or boots you can stand in on packed snow.

Mid-April averages around 26 °F (-3 °C) at 9,600 ft, with afternoon highs in the 30s and low 40s if the sun is out. Evenings drop below freezing—layers and a warm coat are your friends.
Is The Ceremony Outside?
Yes—briefly. We’ll have patio heaters and blankets, and the reception moves indoors immediately after.
Any Color Guidelines?
No strict palette—just avoid bridal white and anything neon that might photobomb the mountain backdrop.

Town sits at 9,600 ft, and the surrounding peaks rise to nearly 13,000 ft
Will I Feel Altitude Sickness?
Most guests notice mild symptoms (headache, shortness of breath) the first day. We recommend ibuprofen, dramamine, and lots of water, Most symptoms are gone after the first night.
Where Can I Get Oxygen or Help?
While rare, if you find yourself out of breath, we'll have some small portable 02 tanks to assist.

How Do I Get Lift Tickets?
If you already have an Epic Pass or Epic Day Pass, you’re set. Otherwise, buy day tickets online in advance for the best price—window rates soar.
Where Can I Rent Gear?
Breckenridge offers on-mountain shops plus ski-to-your-door delivery from the resort and from Black Tie Skis; they’ll fit you in your condo and pick everything up when you’re done.
Not A Skier?
Breck’s gondola is free to ride without skis; town has snowshoeing, tubing, spas, and a lively après scene—join us for cocoa (or cocktails) at the base of Peak 7 even if you skip the slopes.
